Funkd is a web application that lets users save and organize social media content (reels, videos, links) from platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account data: name, email address, and profile picture — provided when you sign in via Meta (Facebook/Instagram) or email.
• Authentication data: OAuth tokens and provider IDs from Meta used to authenticate your session.
• Instagram account: your Instagram username and user ID, which you provide voluntarily to link your Instagram account and enable the DM-based save feature.
• Saved content: URLs of reels and videos you save, along with optional categories, descriptions, and tags you assign.
• DM content: when you send a direct message to our Instagram account (@dopend.app), we process the message text solely to detect reel URLs or linking commands. We do not store the full message content.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. Not used for tracking or advertising.

• To create and manage your account.
• To save and organize the content you submit.
• To link your Instagram account so you can save reels by sending DMs.
• To respond to your direct messages via Instagram with confirmation or error messages.
• To ensure the security and integrity of the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Funkd integrates with Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to:

• Allow sign-in via your Facebook/Meta account (OAuth).
• Receive direct messages sent to @dopend.app on Instagram via the Instagram Messaging API.
• Send automated reply messages (confirmations and notifications) to your Instagram account.

By using the Instagram DM feature, you agree that messages you send to @dopend.app may be processed automatically. We use Meta's Graph API with permissions limited to instagram_manage_messages and instagram_basic.

Meta's own privacy policy applies to data processed on their platforms: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the EU. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at team@funkd.app.

• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

These services may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

As a user in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
